Expert Approaches to Adjusting and Patient Communication

Do you ever have days where some adjustments just won't "go"? Or where patients just seem to drop out early, and can't seem to understand your treatment plan?

If so, this seminar will solve those for you in one weekend, once and for all! For the first time ever, Owain Evans and Chris Chippendale are teaming up to deliver a one-of-a-kind event, jam-packed with clinical pearls you can implement on Monday morning.

This is for you if...

  • You're a recent graduate, struggling with adjustments or needing help with your confidence
  • You're an experienced DC looking to improve your patient retention and fine tune your technique
  • You're finding practice difficult, but just not sure why!

This is not for you if...

  • You feel your adjusting and communication is perfect
  • You're not willing to step into your "stretch zone"
  • You're unwilling to try new approaches and techniques

If you ever feel a bit isolated in practice, or wonder if you've spent too long in your "comfort zone", this is an invaluable opportunity to challenge yourself, hone your skills with colleagues in a relaxed interactive format.

Adjusting Skills

What we'll cover:

  • The essential steps to making ANY adjustment easy and comfortable (for you and your patient)
  • Avoid career-ending injuries and discover how to protect your joints every day in practice
  • The set-up and thrust components needed to achieve maximum results with minimal effort
  • Simple yet powerful tactics to ensure your patients' complete relaxation during treatment
  • Identifying the common causes for failed adjustments, and how to remedy them (Most DC's have never seen these!)

Patient Management

What we'll cover:

  • Own your Identity: How to avoid self-sabotage by mastering your mindset and embodying your true role as a DC
  • How to make it easy for any patients to say "Yes!" to your treatment plan (and then stick with it!)
  • The 4 Essential Factors to delivering a "Trust-Based Report of Findings"
  • Patient-Centred Maintenance Care: a brand new, cutting-edge framework for ethically discussing maintenance
  • Value-Based Care: the alternative to traditional patient retention and feeling like you're "selling"

This is the first live seminar either of us have offered in 4 years, and places are limited to 30 - so they'll go quickly!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will it take place?

The exact venue will be determined shortly, but will be within Central London (Zone 1). Early-Bird pricing is available for those who book before this is announced!

What should I bring?

If you own a portable bench, please bring this! We've found that groups of 3 per bench work best for the technique elements, but if there aren't enough benches available then groups will need to be larger, and your amount of practical time may be reduced.

You'll also want to bring a notepad and shorts / suitable technique clothing. You won't need to be undressed but jeans / long trousers will get in the way of certain techniques.

Will lunch be provided?

Yes, we will be providing lunch for all attendees on the Saturday - we will send out a survey nearer the time for any allergies / dietary requirements.

Do I get a certificate for my CPD?

Of course! This event will include 12 hours of CPD, and digital certificates will be emailed to all attendees afterwards.
